How does python choose the highest score from a list?

Question

Example:
Games = [4,7,3,9]
Highestscore = max(Games) wouldnt work.

Answer 1

games = [6,5,11,3]
Highestscore = max(games)
print(Highestscore)

Answer 2

Games = [4,7,3,9]
Highestscore = max(Games)
print(Highestscore)
