Should I learn JavaScript for backend development(php developer)?

Html is important
But css and JavaScript I don't know

How is HTML important for backend development if it is only a markup language? /genuine-question

I've personally never heard of HTML and CSS being important for backend because they are usually used for the frontend.

I do believe JavaScript can be useful for both frontend and backend though such as with Node.js! :)

I agree with Justice. Did you mean frontend instead of backend? For frontend you should definitely learn HTML and CSS and at least some Javascript.
