Bits not unlocking lesson

Question

When I try to use my Bits (total >700) to unlock a Code Coach lesson (costing 60 Bits) (and with Sololearn's prompting), I receive an "Oops! It seems something went wrong on our end" message with no choice but to go back to the previous page.
I am accessing Sololearn via Safari and Chrome and have tried both with no luck. I have also reloaded browsers and tried again to no avail. Ideas? Seems a bit... scam-like... as if Sololearn is trying to force me to pay for Pro despite advertising you can use your Bits to unlock content.

The code coaches should unlock with bits... Could be a bug!
