1. pick up a programming language
(note: no language is better than another)
2. be good with the language you choose
3. try solving puzzles/ new things with your chosen language.

let the hacking come to you... don't rush into it so you won't miss out on what to learn

There's lots of ways you can learn how to hack. You can search for hacking courses on Udemy, these can be quite expensive but if you wait til they are on offer you can get one for around $15.

You can also use a site like this - https://null-byte.wonderhowto.com/ lots of posts about hacking.

Try running a Kali Linux virtial machine. Then follow their tutorials and do lots of reading and make another VM to practice hacking on. Your labe can be as complex or simple as you make it.
