Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'

Question

I tried to create a database in phpmyadmin and this message appears: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'

Previously I logged in first, but I forgot what the username and password were (I tried to log in with the account stored there, but why is the database empty (no database that I have created before it doesn't appear there)

I searched on google and YouTube but I can't find the same view as mine

But I found something that is almost similar, but I don't understand it.

❗Please help me, please answer seriously, this is important because I'm doing my school assignment but I'm having problems with the database❗

Go to the file manager, if you're using phpmyadmin through xampp then go to the below path

C:\xampp\phpMyAdmin

In the above path you can see the file "config.inc" in that modify the password as ' ' , i think then it will work properly.
