Change default "sort by" from votes to date for comments

Question

I would like the default sort by option to be set to date instead of votes for comments. Is this possible to change?

(Makes more sense to me since replies to other comments will be in the right order when reading)

you're right, there is no way to set the default behavior. Closing and opening the app defaults to votes. Might be a good thing to suggest.

Discussions are easier to understand when sorted by date.

It is an easy click, though, since the option is in an accessible location, but a way to set the default option is a better ux.

Sort ascending or descending would be even better for people who don't want to scroll down and are ok with reading from bottom to top...

Not everything is a popularity contest. Things making sense is sometimes more important than public opinion.

I assume it's not possible and that this question is better suited for the sololearn support, but hey maybe somebody here knows :)
