Why messages aren't available

My friend have completed 24 days in Sololearn and messages aren't available

I contacted them, basically you need to continue until it is activated for you that's what I understood, but I think that probably if we do more stuff like commenting posts or just creating code and continue the lessons will eventually allow you to get access to that.
