You can carve domino bricks from wood, for example.

If you are interested in programming, I recommend to start with web technology: HTML, CSS and Javascript. It will take a while before you get enough knowledge to actually write a working game.

If you are only interested in making simple games, you can also take a look a Scratch. It is a visual programming language for small kids.
