Can't type the right "}" in Visual Studio Code

Question

I can't type the right "}" in Visual Studio Code. The left one is still working. If i type the right "}" one nothing appears. It jumps to the searching bar.

maybe your key bindings was messed up? is it vscode only? can you use it normally elsewhere? (browser searchbar, other apps, etc). If it's everywhere, maybe your keyboard key is broken...
