Why I am loosing points?

Lately, I have been trying my best to get high amount of XPs on Sololearn.

Got up to rank 4th on USA and about 70th-ish Globally

But, one day Sololearn decided to push me back and took away about 230K XPs from my account?

How is that fair?
What is the explanation for this?

Hi,
Recently we had several users discover a new way to cheat for XP, using this way to rack up absurd amounts of XP in a very short period of time. Everyone discovered using this exploit had their XP from that timeframe removed from their account.
