Is there a way to do 'Code Coaches' and 'Code Challenges' in PC?

I just find it so much more comfortable to write code on my laptop.

I think you can do it with a "compromise".
You read the code coaches quizzes from the apps, and write your code on PC and save it as code bit.
Once finished, you can copy your code and paste it in code coach within the apps.

i sometimes use a bluetooth keyboard paired to my phone. It makes typing so much easier.

Somebody suggested using an emulator such as BlueStacks, but I found it a bit overkill if only for using SL only.

My suggestion is, If you have a tablet start up the apps and then turn into horizontal mode, then attach a USB / Bluetooth keyboard.
It should work with a phone too, but my phone refuse turning into horizontal mode on this apps.

yes, I think SL is portrait mode only. but maybe you can screencast it to an external monitor.

one drawback with copy pasting is that formatting on wide screen looks terrible on narrow apps in phones.

It can turn to landscape mode if the screen is big enough.
My Kindle Fire has resolution of 1920 x 1200, and I'm typing in landscape mode.😁
(Keyboard disconnected and the virtual keyboard takes more than half of the screen 😅)

turning my phone on it's side does nothing for me. Adaptive width maybe? I haven't really tried SL on tablets.
yeah, virtual keyboards are the ultimate photobombers. 🤪 slow to type and takes up half the screenface.

I think it doesn't matter.

In the apps the code will wrap automatically if it is too long. And most of the quizzes don't require a single long line of code (unless you pursuit it).

tabs and indentations in languages like python can be nasty when deeply nested with 4 spaces or more per indentation. Maybe ok on wide monitors but hard to read in the app on midsize phones. Specially so if you have font sizes set bigger to compensate for poor eyesight.🤓

And long lines of code is inevitable in c# or java...😅. method names were designed with no word length limit in mind.

Otid It's not that comfortable though.
On PC you have shortcuts and you can copy paste easily / duplicate lines of code.
There are also the Home/End keys and Left/Right keys that are also very useful.
