Why did my code got deleted?

This morning, I checked a HTML and JavaScript game page I was working on in Sololearn and I saw that everything down to the last line of code disappeared. I checked for the other things I had codded and the same thing had happened. Everytime I modify something on this project, I mkae extra sure to save everything by clicking multiple times in a row on the Save button. This is the first time this happens to me and I am very upset and scared to the idea that my first project got deleted. I would really like an explaination for this and, maybe, a way to retrieve everything. Your answers wil be very much appreciated.

Is the project still there as a file but the file is empty?

Yes, it still display the name of the file, but nothing is it. I will try asking to sololearn too.
