How long does it take to learn to code or design?

I’ve been wondering how long it would take for me to learn how to code or do some graphic designing because I read that Elon musk learned it in 3 days! If anyone here is really good at coding how long did it take you to get to this point?

Elon musk did not learn programming in 3days! If Albert Einstein is still alive, he wouldn't be able to learn a programming language in 3 days. Learning anything does not have an endpoint. However you can become intermediate in a programming language within a period of 1yr with constant practice

I attest that you can learn stuff in a very short time. I learned PureBasic in only 2 hours. It was the first day on a job and I had never heard of PureBasic before that day. I did onboarding in the morning, had lunch, and Googled the details of the language. Two hours later I was writing full-fledged mission-critical programs for the company, and even discovered that the existing team was mishandling objects due to their failure to understand language internal workings. But, the ability to do that was not from some inherent or mysterious genius skill. It was from many years of experience with a dozen or more other languages. After learning one language very well, the others come much easier. Don't expect to do it in 3 days or 2 hours, but often you can pick up a second or third language within a month or a couple of weeks if they are similar. Final word: To learn the language in a short time realistically took a foundation of years of study, practice and experience -- plus 2 hours! Build a good foundation.
