you need to find a Web hosting site and use filezilla, or some other file transfer program. X10 hosting is one Web host free, as well as ucoz. You just sign up.

the Web host will guide you through it. if you need any help uploading your html files, use the built in file manager on x10hosting. also there is a forum with many people to help you out there. just ask them. good luck.

there are plenty of free Web hosting sites. x10hosting is one, ucoz.com is another. you can also try altervista.org yes some charge a monthly fee if you want more space or need other tools to create your website, but I've never heard of sites charging thousands, that's ridiculous. Google Web hosting and you will have to decide what to do and who you want to go with.
