with JavaScript can i make a sign up and log in page in a website with automated mail?

Yes but you would need to use some form of Javascript on the server side to authenticate the user and encrypt the password once the account is setup. You will also need some way to keep track of these encrypted passwords and the accounts they're tied too.

It's possible but much simpler to use php and sql along side Javascript
