How to make output of a formdata on a webpage to a local file for backup

Question

Hello everyone, i want to know if there exists any way in which i can save the data i type for a form into a file each time i hit 'submit' button.

Example: saving the form data i used for signup of facebook.
I know it must be a basic idea. Any halp?
