There is no harm and nothing preventing you from learning both at a time. Just make sure not to mix up the syntax and identifiers.

In my opinion, it's not a wise thing to do.
I tried that once and it went bad. In the end I was always confusing the sintax of both languages and I spent more time looking up the correct syntax than learning how to write good code.
As both languages are object oriented, I would just pick one of them and learn in it how to write good object oriented code. Then, just switch to the other one, learn the syntax and stick with the one that you prefer... or just keep on with both of them

Better to know one language good than to know ten languages at basic level. If you are beginner - choose one language and focus to learn it at least to a level with which you can get a job of junior programmer. Otherwise knowledge of the language does not make a big sense. Learning several languages simultaneously can be helpful only to do your initial choice so you can estimate conceptions and syntax of various languages and other obvious things about them and choose what you want to learn in details. It is like learning speaking languages - it will be not very helpful if all you know is some basic words, and you can form only a couple of simple questions and can not understand something more complex than some phrases from phrasebook.
