App RCode for Mac, is it any good as a plataform in whitch to wright and test codes?

Donot have examples, i just want some good place to try and learn code off-line. Since I use Mac, I wonder witch app would be good to use?

I understand. Well, I prefer Netbeans. It is a great multi-platform tool, I use it on mac and windows. There is also a big user community with tutorials shared in forums, blogs, and youtube videos.
