I cant understand what a framework means!

I had tried many times to understand what is a framework, but every time I reached to a wall in front of my face. Could anybody in easy way explaining it to me, please! and further questions, why Zend Framework for PHP is so complicated, when the aim of it is helping programmers. I have a feel always that there is something missing! should I as a developer use a framework, what is the best of it, and how it will working with me?

Well I will try to give my opinion about what you are asking. A framework is like a good and huge package which brings you stuff you don't have to care (or a little bit). For example, the routing part in Laravel or Symfony, 2 PHP frameworks, helps us to create a route in 1 line. Moreover the cool stuff a framework can bring, it's the community. There are huge community around frameworks, so to find out a problem or a solution it's easier. at the beginning it's always hard to know what a framework is doing, or what you can do with it but atleast, it's better for you because a lot of companies have to work around with frameworks, your files are well placed in the right folders and you, and your colleague, do not have to spend 30 hours to find a file (I go too far but it's the idea) I hope that will, maybe, help you 😊
