Might be something wrong with the PATH used. You have to have Python added to your system PATH and run those builders adequately from an appropriate path, too.

You have to study the documentation. Each of those files does it differently, check out its syntax parameters. What kind of error do you get?

You might also try nuitka or pybuilder, which uses py2exe and sets some stuff for you.
