How to connect HTML app with Rails API?

Hello! This question may be very specific but I couldnt find a good answer anywhere.
I have created a voting app which would be served on Raspberry PI. Most work is on the JavaScript, jQuery, bootstrap styling. I have created small Rails API to handle the db. Now I have to connect that - I want HTML pages to be handled with Rails. Does any programming wizard have any idea how to approach this problem? I am pretty low in time so I am looking for an fairly straightforward way. Any tips? Best wishes!
