https://codefights.com is my favorite free hands-on programming website.
StackOverflow and GitHub are good resources when it comes to Q/A.

@Alexander -- I understand your morals and logic, and they are valuable. However, implementing them through text alone introduces the chance of someone misinterpreting the tone and purpose for your comment. I didn't intend to make you sound like a bad person. I simply aimed to narrow the chances of someone being offended in the future. Thanks for being more specific with your comment. No need to continue on with the matter. ^^ .

@Alexander -- he's being helpful and the information is 100% understandable (and tbh, it's much more legible than a fair number of posts on this app). There is no real need to criticize his grammar. Cheers.

w3schools.com is good for quick references.
developer.mozilla.org is good for more detailed references.
StackOverflow can be useful for asking others about problems you're experiencing, or finding your problem already answered which is usually the case for me.
FreeCodeCamp has helped guide me down a path for learning what I want to learn.

@cipher I am grateful to those who have corrected my grammar. Clarity in speech is important. Just as clarity in code is important. When my code in execution gives me trouble it is usually my fingers that have been responsible.
I personally want to have people around me who will tell me that I am wrong or I have made a mistake than (not then) people who say nothing at all. My closest and most valuable friends in fact will tell me all the time about my mistakes. In fact my wife is the chief champion of this! English is not her first language so she asks the same of me.
I apologise for any hurt feelings I have promoted. Please forgive me for being arrogant but not for wanting you and I to be at our best.

Great information! Now let's fix your own syntax: use the word "then" instead of "than". Just imagine you have given us an "if... then" statement. Cheers.
