I'm having difficulty trying to find a good free compiler. I'm just starting out and trying to learn this in my free time.

Uninstall CodeBlocks and do Dev-C++.

Well, I'm having an issue, I'm using codeblocks. But whenever I try to run a code, it says "target uses an invalid compiler; run aborted" and I'm not sure what to do.

In Windows you can use codeblocks. Try it.
