you need to learn variables, how to get input from the user and write to screen and finally loops.

The rest is math.

i believe in you. Just do the course and figure out the math for averages on paper. If you can do the math on paper and you can make the conputer do it for you. You just have to learn how to tell it to. Thus the course.
