I want to build a customised cnc router, and for using arduino ide what all programming languages I have to learn?

Arduino IDE solves the purpose of handling Arduino and Sparkfun embedded devices, which are used for 3d printing, laser cutter, and similar cnc machines.
what if I want to create and assemble an customised machine?

I am from non engineering background, kindly guide me.

I would suggest learning G code if you are going to be doing any CNC.

for hardware programming 'c' would be an excellent option
