I would say JAVA is best. It is used to develop apps for Google's Android OS and it is a high level of programming language.
Java Script is used for web development which is different then Android apps on mobile devices.

i dont know much avout kotlin but i heard its like java and may take take over java "somthing along those lines".

1. Javascript could be used for PWA but java don't. PWA - "progressive web apps" it's a site and android app at the same time (no need for installing)

2. Java has ugly and redundant syntax.

3. Common installable android apps could be made with js (ionic,... etc)

4. JS is cooler

5. Java is for "serious industry" e.t. boring.

6. JS slowinnes in compare to java for native andr app dev isn't important for user experience and naked human eye.

7. Kotlin not comparable with java because 1st you need to know later mentioned lang.

JavaScript is declared as the official language for development of Android applications by Google. This receives and will receive support for development of Android applications by Google too.
Kotlin is also quite easy as compared Java and is fully interoperable with Java JDK.
JavaScript is suitable for Web development and is preferred especially for that.

So, for Android development, you should definitely choose Kotlin among them.
