What is the best language to make a game?

It firstly depends on what kind of game woulf you like to create.
If you want to make a web game (games played online) you should have knowledges on HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and some others...(It is suggested to start learning HTML and later the others).
In case you would like to create apps and games for mobiles or PC, then you have to learn Java or C++.

What Ledio said is correct, but you don't have to necessarily learn C++ or Java if you want to make games for PC or mobile. You can also learn C# or JavaScript, which are both used in Unity Engine. With it you can make games for PC, android, iOS, Play Station Xbox, and even online games. You can even make a game with Python using PyGame or Panda3D. Although, there is also Unreal Engine 4, which does use C++.
