Where do your coding skills come from?

I'm new at programming and I've started learning with SoloLearn. Here I found out lots of amazing codes, so I wanted to know where does your knowledge come from: have you studied only on SoloLearn? And also: have you studied on your own or have you attended any course?

I have a similar experience to @Devil's.

If read or watch a tutorial I try to make codes with what I learn.

Also modifing existing code, to understand how it works.

Then I would use it inside a code.
