but I'll suggest you download PDFs and tutorials as well, and practice any new thing you learn

Man I'm new to coding altogether, if you have previous knowledge of HTML and the only thing that throws you off your chair is the new tags, you are above me, as of yet I don't even have a chair 😕
In fact I just moments ago completed the section in HTML 5 tutorials about <video> and <audio> it's pretty straight forward. Before anything you should complete the free tutorials ; all the answers to your questions are in there. Asking questions to the community will be of full benefit when you start trying your hand at actual coding .. or if you have a very specific iteration of something that you can't wrap your head around. All the general information is in those mastercrafted tutorials 😉

all the new tags in HTML5. like <audio> <video> That was new for me...

practice makes perfect. you're just not familiar to the tags.
