What is the difference between a server and a client's machine(so to say)?

I have gone through the questions and I find myself to be very stupid to ask such a simple question like this.But,as it is ,I am a beginner and I don't really understand the concept of servers.😳

In general,
Server ➡ Machine that provides the service
Client ➡ User machine that consumes the service
