Any good references to learn Algorithm?

Question

hello fellows, I've done serveral basic coding courses and books, and can write basic scripts(normaly dozens of lines) to solve single problem. But never done a project, sometimes I found a particular task would be easily done by using python(comparing with using Microsoft Excel),but I don't know how to arange the project.
So my question is how to enhance my coding skill, should I learn something about algorithm, if so ,any good references recommended? THANKS~~
