Do you agree with coding functions that only do one thing? Even if you end up with a lot of them spread on your code?

There is been said that to do a clean code you have to write functions that performs one action only. By doing that, they say your code would be easy to read and understand, even if it requires a huge amount of lines of code.

it is true and with time everyone getvto know it. I would like to see even 200 lines of code, every single one calling a method that does one thing, than seeing 5 lines of code without explanation and scrathing my head for 4 hours trying to resolve these methodes
