Some programming languages are designed for very specific tasks. There is R, which is used for statistics; SQL which you use for reading from databases; or odd stuff like ChucK which is used for programming actual music and nothing else.

C++ isn't like that. C++ is general-purpose, and so it's meant to be used for whatever.
