i do spend days trying to understand stuff in details.
i don't rush learning things in just a day like I did before (sign PHP, SQL,...).
rushing things in one go, will evaporate it.
learn, code, practise daily.
does not matter if it's 1 hour, 2 hours or 6. learning, coding, practicing daily matters.

"You will forget stuff you have learned yesterday"
True story, man
Seriously, sometimes, I'm like, "I swear I know what OOP means... "

@David, first, nice post, second, if I may, add a few points:
- You will have new friends
- You may develop self hatred for failing to comprehend the course
Big Thanks @David!
P.S. Point #6 is so true for me :)

Being a beginner I do feel depressed that how will I ever become a true coder .....but then it is all about baby steps

Learned OOP few years ago.., practise mostly with C++, but after that, work on really far away from computing or programming world, a lot of this "coding" stuff have been faded and eveporated away from my head...
but...these day, i feel the urge to be able to code again, especially to be able develop mobile apps, obviously then i have to learn Java, really gratefull when i found this SoloLearn apps and community, and start to learn programming, all over again....
thank you....this motivation post just made my day... :)

Im very intimidated and at the same time intrigued by computers. I used to think computers were just another way to wasge time. Now I want to learn how they work from beginning to end. Only problem is I have no Idea where to start. I started the lessons on C++ bur have been wondering if there is a recommended lesson i should begin with?
