Why don't you just make the app simple?

if someone cannot answer a question it is because they dont understand the material. hence they need a little more help with it before moving on. they can get that help from the forums, or from tons of other places. Usually I find the comments section to be extremely helpful. Then when they understand it, the question is quite easy and they continue on.

It is better that way because without those questions/tests one might not realize that they dont understand something, and that can cause difficulties in learning other parts of the language later on.

That would just be a referrence app, rather than a teaching app. People learn far better from one like this, and there are already plenty of referrence apps out there.

because in the real world, you need to look at someone elses code and understand how it functions and why it works.
