Ні, I want to work as a programmer, I'm below 18. How should I start? Which sites can help? What language should I first learn?

Advice for new programmer 1-We all were bad in the begining 2-Do not be intimated by how much you dont understand 3-Know that your first hour of programming will be really different from your 100th hour 4-Understand and accept that you will make mistakes 5-There is no 'best language'. Some languages & tools are better at solving some problems than others 6-The best way to get better at programming is to write lots of code 7-Document your code, not only for others but also for yourself. You won't remember the reasoning you had a few months later. 8-Be open about criticism against your code.- 9-becoming an expert does not always mean doing the same task for 10 years 10-Remember than there is a life outside programming https://www.sololearn.com/Content-Creation-Guidelines/

lol That's funny, we were just talking about this. :) Well, you recognized that you want to be a programmer, and you managed to locate this website. You were insanely close! Click on Courses instead of Discuss. The courses are located there. I'm assuming you don't exactly know what type of programmer you want to be yet. As such, go with C#, Java, or C++. Can't really go wrong with any of those and it's a great place to start. Personally, I'd recommend Java or C#.

Trust me, college is booooooooooooring. Basically, you're overpaying someone to tell you to read a book, which is something you already know how to do. Need feedback or help? You have millions/billions of people around the world willing to help you, rather than just 1 person that's teaching a given class. In this day and age, college isn't necessary if you have the internet. However, that doesn't speak for all professions, but it does apply to this one. For example, I wouldn't want to hire a self-learned surgeon to do surgery on me. lol
