This whole coding thing pretty much still looks confusing to me. Where do I really start from because I really want to get it.

I see that you have made a start with c++. A great language with many good points but perhaps not the easiest to begin with if you have never programmed before. Can I suggest you begin with something else like Python. Hoping you succeed whatever you decide to do.
