Well, sir you are on the right track as far as I can see. HTML -> CSS -> JavaScript. Perfect. Now its just practice, practice, practice. Good luck...

for the beginners, all programmers want to say you to start in html. yes it's not a real programming langage but it give you the bases and the notions. after, you can complete it by css to make a great site. if you like web, continue with javascript (js) to make a lot of things, in interactive etc... and when you will praticed a lot, you will can use php because it's the most powerfull web langage and also the most complicated (and complete). if you tried html/css and you don't like the style, after you have tried, you can start learning java, c++, python. html / css / js / php = web langage == + simple, but really good and you can do websites java / python / c++ / c# etc... = programming langage for terminal, executing program in your computer, make .exe or make games etc... but you can creat a simple games in web langages ! (look at my codes) and for the SQL, it's to manage website (generally) if you like js, try jquery ! for 4 lignes of js, 1 ligne of jquery ! and ++++ powerfull !!! hope I helped you 😊

HTML is a good beginner language, and so are Python and Ruby. I suggest you learn languages one at a time, so that you don't get confused.
