Choosing a major to become a programmer (High school student needs help!)

Hi, Sololearners. I'm a high school student who wants to be a programmer. As time to choose my major is coming, I want to know which major would give me advantages for my dream. Could you advise me with your experiences?? I really need informations from you guys! : )

to become a programmer you're going have to learn on ur won, school won't help u much unless u really put work into it but if u want to get the certificate i recommend u go for 2 years in computer programming. and don't take my word as a finally answer, do ur studies and come with a solution that suite you after all you know urself better than anyone .

And pick what u want to programme in like games dev , mobile apps , web dev , robotics , virtual reality
and take ur steps towards that
