Angel, no hay un lenguaje mejor que otro, todos tienen un ámbito y uso diferente. Con respecto a la sintaxis y lo legible del código: la mayoría de los lenguajes de alto nivel tienen una sintaxis muy similar al inglés, por lo que en su mayoría son muy legibles. Lo único que varia es cómo definen las estructuras y las palabras claves que usan. Y establecer una opinión sobre eso último es algo muy subjetivo
