Should sololearn be encouraged in schools?
I think everyone should have atleast the basics of coding. I wish I had.

I wouldn't agree that coding/logic classes should be compulsory, but more middle/high schools should definitely have them as electives. Plenty of students find out what they want to do after graduating through electives like those. It can show them what the development field is like, and what to expect in the workplace or college.
Using a service like this would be fantastic for teaching students. It presents info in small chunks, that's less intimidating than a big textbook/manual or a lecture, and encourages creating and sharing code outside of assignments.

Firstly, I would like if the middle school I went to [as an 8th grader] had computer programming as a possible elective. Sololearn was and still is the more easier, comprehendable option for me compared to other popular options. As I've switched to learn more on other sites, I realized Sololearn gave me a grasp on what I mostly needed to know. I probably wouldn't have learned as easily or willingly from firsthand-textbooks, but I probably would have more thorough insight. Sololearn gives you many benefits and should be easy for students to get a grasp on.

As an elective a million times yes! If coding classes had been available at my high school I would have jumped on that in a heart beat! But luckily because of this app they can get into coding either way 😀

even if it was introduced it shouldn't be a basic requirements considering there are also other methods or sites for programming

i think it has potential, but atm no. sololearn isnt as thurough as would benefit anyone paying for edu. if you haven't been on here long ull figure out that youll always need a secondary source of info

I understand where you are coming from, I tried learning on SoloLearn before I actually knew anything about coding and it was confusing.
But when I started taking classes on coding SoloLearn was really useful cause it helped me undertsand better.

what i like to do is like when im learning python ill use html and css to make a page with the lessons. helps with retaining info also helps me get closer to mastering css while still being able to broaden my horizons.

But I wished I learnt coding when I was younger and in school where we had more time. Cause kids nowadays with technology can learn these things easily.
Everyone should know a little programming. It's actually useful.
And I know some people who learnt programming on their own when they were younger. And I feel kinda dumb cause I am taking a course on computer science in University and just started to learn recently.

since when do "they" actually do anything bennificial. they like that kids dont learn it, they get paid because of all the people who pay for school for free knowledge.
