Are the heading tags limited to only h1 to h6 or it continues after this like h7,h8 and so on..?

They are limited to h1 to h6.
EDIT: You can theorically use tags as h7 or h8 if you want, but you will have plain text and no littler text.

h1 to h6 is the functional range, which means when you go beyond, the browser will still parse the tag, but do nothing to the text enclosed by the tag
