Programming Language is not a big factor. The main thing is your problem solving skill. Try to focus on one language firstly (for example: C or C++) and try to solve Ad-hoc problems based on that language. This will improve your problem solving skill. Basically the logic to solve a problem is same for all programming languages. Only the language syntax varies from one to another.
