Should I learn Java OR JavaScript?

Java is a programming language used mainly to develop desktop-application, server-side application(jsp pages) and android-application.

Javascript is programming language used mainly for web-application client-side.

So in you want to learn how to create a website only client-side I suggest you Javascript, but if you want to create app for PCs, Mobile or learn how to create a Website that requests resource on the Server Java is the best option.

Don't be tricked: Javascript is not Java.
