Is Unity an ideal program to start off with?

if is a game, use unity, if not, use visual studio

if you want to make games, use unity, of you want to be a good programmer, code everything in sublime text, if you don't wanna do that, I recommend visual studio, but it depends on the lenguage, I'm what lenguage do you wanna built it?
