Angular 4 vs other JavaScript framework

Question

I was recently in a discussion over upgrading a legacy front end from angular 1.5. Is it worth moving to angular 4? is another framework more appropriate? what are the pitfalls?
Please let me know what you think... :-)

In my opinion, Polymer is stronger than Angular, since all Google apps are moving toward polymerization.

The latest news I have is that more than 700 Google projects are being made with Polymer And there are more than 3.5 million web pages with Polymer.
