Can someone explain what does framework means

In two words: it is a set of tools able to solve any of problems in it's area of expertise, and which includes all what needed for that.

jQuery is just JS library, because it can solve only JavaScript problems. Angular is front-end framework and can be solution for any One page application front-end problem.
