Yes. For example, if user wants to show the result of his search. If you are using GET method for search form - he can just copy the url and send it to the friend. With the POST method he can't.

Using GET method can show parameter to url, so it will able to bookmark, copy paste, etc.
Also, GET method have limit to store parameter, max 2000 char. #CMIIW
