Which programming language Is most important to creating and hacking or modding games.

I've always wanted to create, hack, build mods, and everything you can do to make you gaming life successful and easy, but I've only done C++ and C, I've seen everyone doing Java, and other except what I am doing. My my Question is, which programming language should I use to accomplish my goals.

What you should learn first (if you have not already) is binary and hexadecimal structure, then move on to learning what language the game you want to modify and the code of the game itself. I see a lot with Lua and C# myself, but it honestly is best to know multiple programming languages, especially to find the one that feels the best for you.
