Is any one learning coding even though their professional life does not involve coding?

It’s hard to find an example but coding somehow change my approach to other problems. Instead of diving headfirst to them, I start to think of the strategy, the core of them. I hope a quote from Steve Jobs might make you feel better
‘Everyone should learn to program a computer because it teaches you how to think’😉

am mostly into electronics ...I joined coding because of the programmable microcontroller (development boards like arduino and raspberry pi) and JavaScript based internet of things devices ..though am still learning ....

I didn’t start coding as a computer enthusiast but now it totally changed my mind. I liked biology as well as computer so I don’t think it matters what your job is. Beside, coding can definitely bring you a lot more jobs in the future.

im not working with coding, just learning. more and more bit by bit. hoping to work in the field soon. what others say is true,it does change how you approach other problems in life. it's great !!

I have never had a job in the programming or Web development field bit i still practice every day. it's one of my hobbies that may someday turn into freelance work.

Currently i work in a medical lab.
